Brook in the Heidehof Park Garten Villa Bosch

In the park of the Robert Bosch House, a new stream connects the
historic stream section with the pond area in two generous loops.

On the "sliding slopes" the stream bed widens and offers space for typical riparian plantings. The picture is characterised by numerous marsh irises. Bottom steps as well as a rough bed provide for oxygen input. The design of the worked travertine edge borders consciously refers to the clear and open pond border, which was designed by the landscape architect Peter Kluska in the course of the park renovation. The two stream edge borders also cut into the walkway at the end of the historic stream section, ensuring trouble-free water flow under the drive-over pathway bridge. A flowering dogwood completes the design at the upper loop and provides additional shade with its overhanging form. The new, high-capacity creek inlet at the upper end of the historic creek blends into the existing design as an unobtrusive and natural-looking fountain. The water bubbles out clearly audible between stones from the paths. Major interventions were deliberately avoided.
