Kneipp facility as a measure to improve the living environment

The recreational facilities in Niederalfingen are primarily designed for local and after-work recreation for the residents of the entire community. In addition to cycling and hiking trails, there is a sculpture trail, a Nordic fitness path and a nature adventure pool.

With the construction of the Kneipp facility, the range of nature-compatible and ecological as well as health-promoting recreational activities was expanded. The location of the Kneipp facility is deliberately chosen close to the village, adjacent to the natural outdoor pool, at the entrance to the sculpture and Nordic fitness path. This provides the opportunity for visitors to take a Kneipp treatment before or after a Nortic-Walkin tour or a walk, or just for fun. With the water treading, arm bath and foot feeling path, body stimuli such as cold sensations and foot reflex zones are stimulated and, according to the teachings of Sebastian Kneipp, serve to increase well-being and resistance.

Access to the Kneipp facility is via a paved path. The bench on the wooden terrace is used for resting and for taking off and putting on shoes. A supply line from the fountain of the nature adventure pool ensures a constant fresh and clean water supply, which supplies both the pump shaft of the Schwengelpumpe and the water treading pool.
