Awarded the North Rhine-Westphalian Landscape Architecture Prize 2014
The park and festival site is designed as a multifunctional clearing and serves as the starting and meeting point for the adventure and landscape park at the Bielefelder Pass. With the new development of the park and fairground, the previous access road could be removed from the historic park. It offers interesting flowering aspects due to its ecological upgrading and the use of numerous geophytes. Harmonious and functional footpath and cycle path connections form the link to the nearby Bielefeld city centre.
