The property is situated on a hill that slopes down on all sides and is in front of the main ridge of the Teutoburg Forest. The owner has lovingly renovated two old residential houses and a guest house. For the garden planning, the existing trees had to be preserved, the steep slopes had to be secured with shell limestone walls, and the terrain had to be given varied recreational areas, which were made accessible by stair paths.

The water of a spring fountain flows over a meander channel through a glacial garden-like crust slab covering into a square water eye. In the shady ravine garden, a gazebo invites tranquility. On the south side of the slope, sun perennials are combined with roses.

In addition to varied, generous perennial plantings, the garden features a variety of special woody plants such as camellias, rhododendrons, hydrangea species, magnolias, shrub paeonies, osmanthus, bamboo species, etc. .
