Wellness garden Herford

An old city villa garden in the centre of Herford was to be remodelled in a representative Mediterranean style to match the villa. The front garden with old trees was given an architectural lawn with a central decorative bed and forms the quiet resonance area of the house.

The residential garden area with the existing elevated terrace and an old swimming pool were integrated into the new planning. The pool edge received a technical renovation and the pool was renovated with Italian mosaics in different shades of green and sand. The new pavilion at the water's edge is a pleasant place to stay in the centre of the garden in summer. Bands of dark syonite alternate with white flagstone to create contrasting paving.
A narrow axis of lawn with a modern herm figure as a point de vue forms the spine of the garden space. Large-leaved trumpet trees, figs and columnar mock cypresses with lush perennials and roses emphasize the Mediterranean ambience.
