The building volume of the new vocational school is divided into a comb-like building structure with quiet courtyards, the "actual" school buildings and two structures in front of them, a sports hall and an event building, which are also available to citizens and associations of the district. The zoning of the open spaces corresponds to this basic configuration. The apron is at the same time the school's forecourt and break area as well as a meeting and recreation area for employees and young people from the surrounding area. The area, which is covered by a grove of different tree species, is bordered and structured by seating walls. It offers space for a variety of activities and a generous outdoor area for the refectory. A water table and flower beds accentuate this area. The plaza-like apron is contrasted by the quiet "green" courtyards.
