The project is a component of the reopening of the Alna in Groruddalen, an industrial area in Oslo. Stream renaturation and stormwater management in urban open space experience optimal integration in a park design with local recreational character. Natural river management with the creation of sedimentation processes and natural self-purification. High-quality artistic implementation of the river design measures shapes the urban environment. A park with leisure activities ensteht, ways develop the river, a large bathing pond with wood deck forms the center.
Principles of the Redenwasserbewirtschaftung find likewise application, insert themselves naturally and aesthetically responding into the organization. Stormwater is selectively discharged from the adjacent commercial areas on the surface. Retention and stormwater purification are positive effects.
At the same time, part of the stormwater collector of the entire area is fed to the purification biotope, stormwater percolates through various soil layers, is also cleaned and retained.
