Dubai Business Park

Dubai Business Park is located 10 km west of the Central Business District, directly on the banks of the proposed extension of Dubai Creek, a natural body of water that connects the city to the sea.

Ramboll Studio Dreiseitl developed a highly complex and detailed landscape masterplan for the 40 hectare site with a multifaceted hierarchy for a phased construction process.

One outstanding aspect of the project is the development of an extremely strong pedestrian core, connecting access to all major building areas with a pedestrian axis emanating from the waterfront.

This strong connection speaks to the exceptional character of the waterfront itself, developed as a recreational promenade with direct access to the water.

Another innovative aspect of the master plan is the irrigation concept. Irrigated areas in the pedestrian zone, where people and plants have space and cooling functions via the water.
