The new building of the research and development center is located at the interface to the agricultural floodplain landscape of the Main River and the Schwanheimer Düne nature reserve. In an inviting gesture, the backbone of the complex, the "Magistrale", pushes out into the landscape and forms the representative gateway to the Hoechst Industrial Park.
Coming from the car park, the visitor is guided to the entrance portal via an elongated ramp. The magistrale continues in the form of a continuous pavement in the foyer zone of the research center and extends to the south side of the building, where it formulates a generous entrance area for employees. Loosely interspersed groups of trees and planting islands
pick up the park-like character of the adjacent green spaces to the southwest and create a reference to the landscape outside the industrial park. In keeping with the company's corporate philosophy, an open and inviting atmosphere is created, giving Clariant a new face and a prestigious address.
