The "Bastion Merkur" park and play area was opened in the middle of Dresden's city centre. A "green island" within paved areas and modern buildings. A natural, sustainable open space was created between commercial and residential buildings to complement city squares and pedestrian zones. A place of surprise, lingering and living urban history.
