Lingen's architectural heritage of the inner city consists of buildings, squares and alleys, some of which are listed and play a key role in the perception of the urban landscape.
Derived from the found situations and the formulated goals of the city, an overall concept is developed, which on the one hand marks the inner city area as a unit and on the other hand responds to the individuality of the individual streets.
The renewal of the core city is not intended to be historicizing, but a timeless impulse to optimize and revitalize inner city life. The maintenance and elaboration of the regionally typical image stand as a guiding principle for the design.
A magnolia grove in the area of the church is accentuated by light granite slabs, tree discs and benches in a materiality of steel and wood form a further accent in addition to their functionality.
