The Kammeyer Garden, named after and in honour of Hans Felix Kammeyer and protected as a garden monument, is part of the outdoor facilities of the HTW in Dresden Pillnitz as a teaching garden. In addition to the preservation and sensitive further development of the historical structures, the aim of the planning was the expansion of the grounds into an "open-air laboratory" and "climate garden" in accordance with the preservation order. The garden functions as a multifunctional place for teaching and research in relation to plant use, ecosystem research, climate-relevant processes of the water cycle and the performance of plants.
The planning took place in very close cooperation with the user to ensure the subsequent use as a teaching and research garden.
