The award is the strongest external message of the Association of German Landscape Architects. Awarded every two years, the association honours exemplary projects of socially and ecologically oriented settlement and landscape development or contemporary open space planning and their authors.
Over the past two decades, more than 800 landscape architects have made this competition the flagship of German landscape architecture through their participation, thus constantly updating the position of the profession and its achievements.
